Mobile Broadband for High Speed Connection On The Go

Mobile Broadband is a newer technology that is currently offered by 3 mobile broadbands: T-Mobile Broadband, Orange Mobile Broadband and Vodafone Mobile Broadband. Although limited right now, this technology is expected to grow quickly with increased popularity.

This technology allows internet access from your laptop from anywhere that has a wireless hot spot. All that is necessary is to simply plug the USB modem (supplied by the broadband provider) in to your laptop USB port.

The ease of use is definitely a strong motivator for me. While I enjoy technology quite a bit, I do not like to have to tinker or fiddle with settings and I don’t like having to troubleshoot endlessly to get something to work. The fact that this is a simple dongle (USB modem) is very important for simplicity. It doesn’t get much easier than this!

Whether you are new to broadband or are an experienced user searching for a better deal, Broadband Expert can help you sort through all of the different plans that you have to choose from. They will offer you impartial advice and help you find the best broadband deals available in your area.

Definitely check this service out!

Bad Links at Yahoo

This is a prime example of why having an automated system to provide links to news stories is a risky thing.

There was an online story about the call girl involved in the Eliot Spitzer scandal. At the end of the story, there was a link from Yahoo to help readers search for additional news and Web sites based on keywords in the story.

Unfortunately, in this case the automated system highlighted the words “underage girls.” This means that readers who mouse-overed the phrase got a pop-up window that had images from Flickr. Clicking on the pop-up led to hundreds of images of females in pigtails, knee socks and lingerie as well as other, more graphic images.

Yahoo states it is making sure the phrase “underage girls” will no longer be a keyword link. This incident shows how difficult it is for publishers to keep control over their sites with so many Internet users also generating material.

Valuable URLs For Domain Investing

There is quite a new real estate market that many people are dabbling in these days. It is called Internet Real Estate and it is all about domains. Buying and flipping or holding domains can be a very profitable activity. This is known as domain investing or domain development.

If you are new to domain investing, it may be wise to enlist assistance so that you can avoid costly mistakes. InvestInURLs.com is an Internet Real Estate Investing Firm that specializes in generic, geographic and keyword domains.

In looking at their site, they have a very easily navigated portfolio where one can search for domains that are either unique to their niche or geographic location. Finding the geographic domains or keyword domains that you are interested in purchasing is an easy task.

They offer domain investors low priced domains that will enable either making a quick profit on the resale or holding the domain as long-term investment. Prices are kept low so that domain developers can start profiting faster.

Out of curiosity, I looked at their Domain Portfolio section just to see if there were any domains there that were relevant to any internet marketing interests that I have. There were no geographic domains that fit my personal situation, but I did see some keyword domains that I would be interested in investing in. There were several internet advertising domains for sale, as well as many freelance domains that I may be interested in taking a closer look at.

This is a valuable find for anyone who wants to get involved in internet real estate.
