Mobile Broadband is a newer technology that is currently offered by 3 mobile broadbands: T-Mobile Broadband, Orange Mobile Broadband and Vodafone Mobile Broadband. Although limited right now, this technology is expected to grow quickly with increased popularity.
This technology allows internet access from your laptop from anywhere that has a wireless hot spot. All that is necessary is to simply plug the USB modem (supplied by the broadband provider) in to your laptop USB port.
The ease of use is definitely a strong motivator for me. While I enjoy technology quite a bit, I do not like to have to tinker or fiddle with settings and I don’t like having to troubleshoot endlessly to get something to work. The fact that this is a simple dongle (USB modem) is very important for simplicity. It doesn’t get much easier than this!

This system sends data from the single satellite dish to many different points (the satellites orbiting the earth) at the same time.
