I feel such a sense of satisfaction when I find ways to save money buying the things I need to buy.

One such thing I find myself spending money on is software. As a homeschool educator, I rely on computers for an increasing portion of our curriculum. So when I find ways to save money on quality software, it is important to me.

High Hurricane Activity Predicted for October

Top hurricane forecasters are predicting well-above average activity for October. Forecasters are predicting that October will have three named storms and two of these will be hurricanes. Of those two, one will be a major (Category 3-4-5) hurricane.

The expected activity is predicted to be nearly twice what would be normal for October.

Weather experts are continuing to observe low sea-level pressures and warm sea-surface temperatures across the tropical Atlantic. This combination usually leads to an active October. They are expecting a new period of heightened activity that last for several more weeks.

As of September there have been 12 named storms and 6 were hurricanes (three major). The usual full season has 10 named storms and 6 hurricanes with two being major hurricanes.
