This sounds interesting…

Air New Zealand is offering to pay bald travelers for the use of their heads as a new type of medium for a new advertising campaign.

The airline wants 70 recruits to stand in lines at three airports while sporting temporary tattoos on the backs of their heads. They will be walking billboards (so to speak) and the idea is for their heads to be seen by people lining up behind them.

The airline would pay $1,000 New Zealand dollars (US $660) for each bald, tatooed head. The purpose of the tattoos is to promote a new system that will reduce check-in waiting times.

Thinking this through…to sport a tattoo on the back of your head you would have to either shave your head or be bald already. Those who are already bald will have a definite advantage.

I think this guy would be a great candidate…what do you think?

The tattoos will begin to fade or wash off after about two weeks time.

Check out www.airnewzealand.com for more information about entering the contest. Sounds fun!

Wordless Wednesday

This baby moose was rescued in distress from a creek. The moose was taken out of the creek and rescuers tried to find the mother and send him on his way. The mother was not found and the moose stumbled back into the creek and had to be rescued again.

This photo is of the moose in a pen with a rescued baby fawn.

Incredibly, in just a few years this little baby moose will weigh between 1200 and 1500 pounds.
