Lottery Winner Plans to Give Back to Those Who Helped Him

A man won $5 million in the Ohio Lottery, but even though he’s dependent on kidney dialysis, he plans to help friends and charities.

Phillip Withem won the second chance drawing called the Top Prized Drawing. Withem receives kidney dialysis three times a week.

His plans include donating to children’s charities and friends who helped him during his illness. Doesn’t sound like the typical plans for travel, televisions and wii games , huh?

“I’m going to help people because I love it. It makes me feel good and I think that’s what God put us here for,” he said.
