An Iowa couple is thankful to the two Chicago police officers who found the bride’s wedding dress.

Officers John McKenna and Paul Sandoval pulled over a vehicle on suspicion it was stolen. It was — in the trunk was a wedding dress. The officers found the owners and got permission to personally deliver the car and the gown back to the owners in time for the wedding.

The officers arrested the man driving the stolen car. In the process they discovered his career criminal record.
