Therapy Dogs

How about a medication cart with four legs, a tail and a wet, slobbery tongue?

Therapy dogs can be an exceedingly effective means of improving the health of people. Interacting with a dog can reduce blood pressure and heart rate.

Dogs have a way of bringing smiles to tired or hurting faces and making life just seem a little brighter, even reducing negative stress.

Often used in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and other long-term care centers, therapy dogs are a viable alternative for helping people feel better.
