This little guy is now living in Northeastern Wisconsin after starting his life in Oregon.
A family found the orphan in Oregon and took him in. They soon realized that they didn’t know how to care for him, so they contacted a local zoo. After so much human contact, the bear could no longer live on his own in the wild, but he couldn’t stay at the Oregon zoo either because they didn’t have room for him.
The zoo in Wisconsin stepped in and said they wanted him as a companion for their only black bear. He’s now growing used to his new surroundings, getting bigger and settling in to his new Wisconsin home.
