Although don t tread on me has a Navy connection, the message rings true for all of the armed forces. With a son poised to enter the Marine Corps in December, this message is front and center on my mind.

I’m not sure I’m ready for a T-shirt sporting this message, but I need to support my son through this mission he has.

I won’t lie, though…this is going to take every ounce of strength (and then some) to get through this military experience as a parent. I’m not sure that I’m really cut out for it. But…it doesn’t appear as if I have a choice…
