My 13-year-old son just finished guitar lessons this summer, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I’m not sure whether he had his hands on a Gibson Les Paul guitar, but I know he played several different types of guitars during the three week course.

He’s got his own bass guitar that he’s been dabbling on for a few years. I think taking this class gave him some extra incentive to really work to learn the instrument. We also have an acoustic guitar that I think it would very cool for him to learn, too.
