These are interesting points. There are also opposing thoughts on global warming such as are there cycles to the warming and cooling and what are the duration of those cycles?
Another though is reversing of the poles, what effect would that cause?

ALCOHOL ?GOOD FOR YOU?/ ?BAD FOR YOU??

    JUNE RUSSELL?S HEALTH FACTS
    http://www.jrussellshealth.org
You wanted to learn as much as possible about just about anything! Here’s some good research about the dangers of smaller amounts of alcohol that you rarely/never hear.

The purpose of my website is to balance some of the facts about health information and make it available to the public ? especially to health care providers. Often the media reports are deceptive, inaccurate or biased, and individuals cannot make responsible choices about their health ? or advising others ? if not given the facts. Politics, monetary gain, and the need for sensationalism often influence what is reported, and there are times when the announced outcome of a particular study is not even the same conclusion of the researchers. Omitting the dangers can make a study appear to be a positive one, and a single study is often presented as an absolute, with no mention of the many other available studies showing different outcomes. Drug companies are required to submit at least 2 drug studies to the FDA that show positive outcomes, with no mention to the public about the other studies that may show harm. I hope this information will encourage you to do your own research and further update the topics that interest you by researching them more extensively.

*ALCOHOL ? The dangers of light/moderate consumption. The media and alcohol industry have deceived the public into believing that alcohol is only harmful in greater quantities, and one can drink ?responsibly?. My website does not address ?heavy,? ?too much? or ?excessive? use of alcohol, and though not clearly defined, there are general agreements that these amounts are unhealthy.
(Two drinks a day is considered ?heavy? drinking!)

FOUND ON http://WWW.JRUSSELLSHEALTH.ORG : SMALLER AMOUNTS OF ALCOHOL?S EFFECTS ON : Accidents, Addictions Allergies, Anxiety and Depression (Suicide), Arthritis, Brain Function and Memory (also Alzheimer?s), Blood Pressure, Cancer, Colds and Flu, Diabetes, Digestive System, Double Whammies, Effect of One Alcoholic Drink, Exercise, Fatigue, Free Radicals, Headaches/Hangovers, Health Benefits Questioned (this includes information on wine and beer, and questionable ingredients in alcoholic beverages), Heart/Triglycerides, Immune System (AIDS), Insulin, Kidney and Bladder, Liver, Medications, Men (Sex, Reproduction, Prostate), Miscellaneous (eyes, ears, skin, hair, thyroid, smoking, sinus, etc.), Osteoporosis, Seniors, Sex, Sleep, Stress, Surgery, Teens, Vitamins and Nutrients, Weather (negative effects to the body?s control mechanism),Weight, ?Wine Healthy?? and Women. Research in the Lancet (2005) reported that alcohol is ?as harmful as smoking? and that just a mild dose of alcohol compromises the ability to take in important needed information and process it. A majority of Americans consume alcohol, which results in a conscious/unconscious desire to legitimize their ?drug of choice,? so any possible positive reports are favored and the reports/studies of the dangers are virtually ignored or minimized.

THE HARM FROM SMALLER AMOUNTS OF ALCOHOL/WINE

Alcoholic beverages are now classified by our government to be a class ?A? human carcinogen, along with arsenic, asbestos, tobacco, etc., and the presence of alcohol hastens the breakdown of antioxidants in the blood, speeding their elimination from the body. Antioxidants (such as resveratrol) have possible benefits, but that does not translate into wine being healthy. The American Institute for Cancer Research tells us that alcohol is a tumor- promoter and that cancer risk may be increased by drinking ?any? amount of alcohol. There have been no clinical trials to prove that alcohol can be healthy, only by association/observations, which is how HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) was erroneously shown to be healthy for women.

The ?French Paradox? was disproved years ago by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other health organizations because of faulty data. It should cause concern that these facts have not been reported to the public to balance the ?Wine good for you? vs. ?Wine bad for you.?

Studies are often skewed, as in the studies about wine. Wine drinkers, as a group, have a healthier lifestyle in general (not inclusive of the wine), and the ?sick quitters? are often included in the nondrinkers. These facts should cause the public to question the possible positive effect of alcohol, and there is no requirement for the drug alcohol to reveal its dangers (side effects).

Evidence shows that alcohol use is dose related, that is, smaller amounts do less damage, but there is still harm from even smaller amounts. Alcohol is a toxin to every part of the body. Healthy for the heart? Although studies suggest that smaller amounts of alcohol/wine may lessen the incidences of the ischemic stroke (which is more prevalent), there is an increase in hemorrhagic stroke, which does more damage. Alcohol also destroys an enzyme in the heart needed for contraction. (See Alcohol ? Heart?). Using an alcoholic drink to relax? This is not true relaxation, it is anesthetizing/drugging, the drinker. It actually interferes with sleep. (See ?Alcohol -Sleep?)

I am a retired health educator, researcher, writer and journalist, writing for newspapers and disseminating information to organizations/groups/individuals and to other health websites, as well as my own. Your health is your most prized possession, ask anyone who doesn?t have it! Spend time to find out the true facts. As the pharmaceutical companies increase their power, there will be more information on drugs and less information on natural therapies/cures/prevention.

There are references on the dangers of light and moderate alcohol use, and I examine the deceptions of the studies ?and? the media.

Would you please consider suggesting that your readers acquire, preserve and store a diverse variety of food and herbal non-GMO seeds so that the human race will have access to non-GMO food and herbs in the future? You might write up an article (a sequel to your Doomsday Seed Vault articles on Natural News) explaining the need for this, how to go about obtaining non-GMO seeds, and how to preserve them so they don’t mold and will remain viable in the future, etc.

Various seed catalogs are available online. A source of a few garden seeds is http://www.BePrepared.com, 800-999-1863; AF1-FG-S200, Garden Seeds in a Can (16 jumbo foil-lined packets of open pollinator seeds — not GMO “terminator” seeds that lock you into buying GMO seeds with harmful DNA effects at exorbitant prices from GMO companies — for $38.95). Once the GMO terminator seeds finish integrating with seeds in nature (which the GMO companies admit has already begun happening), seeds that people store will be the only natural, God-given seeds left to humanity.

Thanks for those great articles and for alerting us hopefully in time to do something about it!

your article about silver has been quoted and there is a rebuttal on this website.

    Specifically:

From an earlier article at naturalnews.com, published several months ago when the “grassroots consumer watchdog group” first started making nanosilver quacking noises. BTW, this org is obviously well funded by the pharma interests. It has expensive offices in Washington DC and is rife with pricey beltway attorneys. Hardly the markings of a real “grassroots” activist organization:

“This is not a regulation designed to protect the environment from nanotechnology, it’s a stealth ploy that selectively attempts to remove colloidal silver from the marketplace,” Adams said. “Silver was gaining momentum in the marketplace as a safe, effective and natural antibacterial element. It cannot be patented and directly competes with antibiotics, antibacterial cleaners and other products from powerful corporations. That’s why Big Business had to knock colloidal silver off track and regulate it out of the marketplace.”
Another interesting point, in reading their manifesto, is that this group has zeroed in on nanosilver ions, yet the ONLY manufacturer of colloidal silver that they target in their list of over 200+ nanosilver manufacturers’ products is American Biotech Labs. ABL does not make an ionic nanosilver product. All ABL products are pure elemental silver, which cannot bind with other elements, as silver ions do, to make a toxic silver salt, which seems to be the crux of their angst. I guess this little FACT has so far eluded them. Not one maker of ionic colloidal silver products, of which the marketplace is flooded, is mentioned by them in their hit list.

The Mike Adams quote above makes one glaring error. He is still operating under the illusion that a colloidal silver cannot be patented. Someone needs to point out to him the Nov 06, USPTO patent approval (#7,135,195) for the silver nanoparticle in colloidal suspension that was awarded to American Biotech Labs. I once tried to do this but Mr Adams is pretty well insulated from outside email. I never could find a way to reach him. Anyone have his address?

It is specifically this American Biotech Labs patent that has the pharmas in such a dither. Within the patent, and now part of the public record, is clinical proof of ‘gasp!’… CURES for a multiplicity of ailments that are important depopulationist tools for clearing out the useless eaters in parts of the world rich in natural resources (see excerpt from patent, below). Cures for things like malaria, AIDS, ebola and the bioengineered antibiotic resistant bugs that are now being unleashed on an unaware domestic public.

The article you posted about banning nano-silver is nonsense and backed by the same people who have no serious understanding that silver is the oildest and safest antibiotic known to Man. For over 4,000 years it has been in use and during the plague of 1812 that wiped out 20 million people, those who ate off of silver plates and goblets and whose children ran around with silver spoons i their mouths, did not get the flu. Yes, there are a lot of silver products out here thast need ro be removed from the shelves asnd thst is because they do noit have any research to back them up. If these groups are so worried about our water supply being poluted, they need to start with educating themselves about the poison called fluoride, that is dumped our water supply because the corp. that have created it, did not want to pay the price of waste removal. Therefore they GET piad to dump it in our water supply and poison everyone. Also, what about all the medicatrion that is dumped in toilets or eliminated as body waste and the treatment plants cannot remove any of it so we are saturated with secondhand poison pharmaceuticals? The military uses silver threads in socks and underwear to eliminate fungus and other patogens for our troops. The water filters in the space shuttles have massive silver filters to purify their water. Silver products in the proper amounts, properly created and with all the proper research and testing, is something WE NEED. There are no antibiotics today that will clean up the staph (MRSA) that our hospitals and clinics are loaded with and are causing amputations and death and these facilities have NOTHING to combat it. Proper silver solution will do the job in minutes and have been proven. The next time you, or one of these “do-gooders” and “know-it-alls” have a good dose of staff, picked up in thier local hospital or clinic, they had better hope they have a good silver product to ingest or, as far as I am concerned, they deserve to expire. I have no patience with stupidity! Ignorance can be taught but stupidity refuses ro learn and that is the major reason our wonderful country is becoming obsolete. If you have a sincere interest in the only silver product on the market today, that has been fully tested, researched, patented and FDA approved, please contact me for we deserve equal time. Thank you

I grew up on a farm and am convinced that my way of life is what has kept this 77 year old women feeling like 30. I also have not slowed down and don’t take pills.. If the food that is available to us doesn’t kills us the Pharmmaceutical Companys will. Everyone needs to read “Our Daily Meds” by Melody Peterson- Here is another hint–, Go to one of the big farms and see how cows are kept , they never get out in the sun, don’t get on the pasture for grass , they are kept under sheds. We never put drugs in our cows and they ate what cows are suposed to eat.The milk was dated within 3 days. It even taste different I can’t and won’t drink it.-no wonder so many people are lactose intolerant. And what do you all think growth hormones are doing to your children. If I had more time I would tell you about chickens. Everything I have mentioned has created industry for Pharmaceutical Companys, they even make up problems and advertise so people will get hooked on the new barely or falsely tested drugs. Sean Hannity tells about our wonderful medical profession, I asked to speak since Fox say they are fair and balanced. They would not even give me an answer. Why???, to many people getting pay offs from the drug companys.
