We just found out that we will be heading to Tennessee for a visit this September! The town that we will be in looks like a charming forest-mountain city with plenty of things to do for both the kids and the adults. So no, I guess we won’t be looking at window replacement virginia beach. As much as I would love to visit Virginia it just never seems to work out. But this trip to Tennessee looks like it could be interesting!

The Hubble Space Telescope has provided astronomers their best view yet of Comet ISON, which experts believe could light up the sky in amazing ways sometime during 2013.
The image of Comet C/2012 S1 (ISON) was photographed on April 10, when the comet was a little closer than Jupiter’s orbit at a distance of 386 million miles from the Sun, and 394 million miles from Earth.
Experts are saying that it will get drastically brighter as it swings around the sun in late November, with some experts stating that the comet could shine brighter than Venus or even the full moon.

Re-Opening of the Statue of Liberty

Almost eight months after the strong winds and flooding in New York due to Hurricane Sandy caused damage to this spectacular landmark, The Statue of Liberty is set to re-open on the Fourth of July of Summer 2013. According to the Associated Press, around 3.7 million tourists visited the statue in 2011, resulting in making the Statue of Liberty the 19th most visited national park.
It was stressed by a civilian the importance the statue has on New York’s booming tourism economy.
‘Being open for the summer tourism season isn’t just important symbolically, it’s a boon to the city’s economy and businesses, as the statue attracts millions of tourists from all over the world to our shores,’ he said.

Courageous Girl Completes Antarctica Marathon

A fourteen-year old girl who runs marathons all around the world to honor her father who passed from cancer has set the record for the youngest person to ever to finish a marathon in Antarctica.
Winter Vinecki persevered through sub-zero temperatures during this difficult race and is now on track to become the youngest person to complete a marathon on seven continents of the world.
This common girl, from Michigan in the U.S., scored 11th overall in the Antarctica Marathon and was the third female to finish with an impressive time of 4 hours 49 minutes.
